Nearly 140 new models of weapons and military equipment were authorized for operational use in July

In July 2025, the Ministry of Defence authorized nearly 140 new models of weapons and military equipment for operational use by the Defence Forces. More than 85% of them are domestically produced.
This was reported by the MoD’s Main Directorate for Support of the Life Cycle of Weapons and Military Equipment.
Among the domestically manufactured weapons and military equipment authorized for operational use last month are mostly munitions (for UAVs mostly), unmanned aerial systems, ground robotic systems (GRS), electronic warfare and signals intelligence systems. New models also include optics, communications equipment, vehicles, and armored vehicles.
