According to him, Ukraine’s key priorities remain air defense systems, artillery ammunition (particularly 105 mm and cluster munitions), explosive materials for equipping various types of UAVs, and spare parts for maintaining partner-supplied military equipment.

The Deputy Minister of Defence also called on NSATU representatives to facilitate the establishment of direct contacts with European defense agencies, enabling Ukraine to independently procure weapons and their components on global markets.

“Given that today’s war has taken on new forms, we would welcome closer coordination of our efforts with NSATU regarding the supply of materiel. Logistical support provided under these projects requires close coordination with both the General Staff and the Ministry of Defence. The use of financial resources must be justified and aimed at delivering maximum effectiveness on the battlefield,” said Lieutenant General Mykola Shevtsov.

Additionally, the Ukrainian side reiterated to its partners the importance of establishing specialized repair hubs within Ukraine. This will optimize logistics and significantly shorten repair turnaround times for foreign military equipment. To implement this initiative, partners were invited to consider establishing joint repair facilities.
