During a visit to the headquarters of NATO's Security Assistance and Training Mission for Ukraine (NSATU) and the Security Assistance Group-Ukraine (SAG-U) in Wiesbaden, Germany, Ukraine’s Minister of Defence discussed supply coordination in line with front-line needs and the further development of joint projects with partners.

The Minister of Defence of Ukraine was briefed on the work of this key element of Ukraine’s support architecture.

He held meetings with Lieutenant General Curtis A. Buzzard, Commander of NATO’s NSATU and SAG-U, as well as with Major General Ulf Häussler, Deputy Commander of NSATU.

During the talks, the parties focused on maximizing alignment between deliveries and the actual needs of Ukrainian service members on the battlefield. The key prerequisites identified were continuous data exchange and rapid adaptation to the war's evolving nature.

The Minister of Defence also visited functional teams within SAG-U and NSATU, where he familiarized himself with the work of teams aligning Ukraine’s defense needs, met with their specialists, and expressed his appreciation for their work.

Today, NSATU brings together hundreds of specialists who coordinate the delivery of weapons and equipment, ensure logistics, organize repair and maintenance, integrate capability coalitions, and contribute to shaping Ukraine’s future Defence Forces.

Mykhailo Fedorov stressed that Ukraine has proven its capacity to strengthen its partners, with the combat experience, innovation, and rapid adaptability of Ukraine’s Defence Forces serving as a practical contribution to shaping modern military doctrine.

Ukraine will continue to expand joint projects with its partners. Among the key objectives are ensuring reliable protection of cities from russian attacks, deterring the enemy’s advance, and preventing further aggression against Ukraine.

The Minister of Defence thanked every member of NSATU and SAG-U for their vital support to Ukraine.
