Minister of Defence of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov held talks with the UK Secretary of State for Defence John Healey.

The Minister of Defence of Ukraine expressed gratitude for the effective security cooperation between Ukraine and the United Kingdom under the One Hundred Year Partnership Agreement. The United Kingdom remains one of Ukraine’s key partners in enhancing its defence capabilities, Mykhailo Fedorov emphasised.

“I outlined the key objectives in my role as Minister of Defence. Strengthening air defence is priority number one. I also highlighted the importance of the joint Octopus drone production project, which is already enhancing Ukraine’s protection against Shahed attacks,” the Minister of Defence of Ukraine said.

The parties agreed to a systematic exchange of data on the use of weapons as part of their joint work, enabling faster technology development aligned with battlefield conditions and improving effectiveness for both countries.
