More than 1 800 individuals reached out to the Recruitment Centers over the course of the week
A year ago, in February 2024, the first Recruitment Center for the Ukrainian Army was established in Lviv. As of today, 48 Centers are active, delivering consultations and support to prospective candidates for the Defence Forces of Ukraine. Throughout this period, 41 296 individuals contacted the Centers, with 1 808 doing so in the last week.
So far, more than 8 500 volunteers have started the enlistment process to join the military soon.
UAV operator positions are the most sought-after.
Currently, 48 Recruitment Centers are operational in Ukraine, with one operating online. Residents of the city of Kyiv, as well as Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Lviv, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts (regions), demonstrate the highest level of activity in terms of the number of inquiries.
Recruitment Centers, most of which are located within Administrative Services Centers (ASCs) premises, offer consultations solely on a confidential basis, which is an important aspect to emphasize. Notification Groups are prohibited from conducting mobilization activities or delivering call-up papers within the territory of recruitment centers.
