More safe kilometres: another 215 km of anti-drone road protection deployed in July

Since the start of 2026, the State Special Transport Service has installed more than 1,184 km of anti-drone protection along key logistics routes on assignment from the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

In July alone, work in the front-line regions included:

• 215 km of anti-drone protection built;
• 16.52 km of anti-drone protection restored;
• almost 112.7 km of roads repaired.

Since restoration work began in April, routine repairs and maintenance have been carried out on more than 424.9 km of roads in total. Work is currently under way on 21 sections, and another 25 are now fully complete.

Every protected kilometre of road means lives of Ukrainian troops saved, equipment preserved and more scope for our units to carry out combat missions.

We continue to strengthen logistics resilience across the Defence Forces and to develop new solutions that protect our troops from modern threats.
