MoD resumes aviation fuel supplies from foreign partners for the needs of the Defence Forces

With the support of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, France has resumed supplying aviation kerosene for the fighter jets of the Defence Forces.

This was made possible thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Defence’s International Military Assistance Monitoring Directorate. The Directorate’s specialists, in coordination with the Command of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, processed the necessary documentation, confirmed the receipt of previous volumes of aviation fuel, and verified the current needs to support the fleet of fighter jets within the Defence Forces’ units.

Thanks to these efforts, France has resumed supplying high-quality aviation fuel in quantities sufficient to sustain Ukrainian fighter jets over the long term. The latest shipment, valued at UAH 85 million, crossed the border just days ago.

Polish partners have also contributed by covering part of the logistics costs and handling other organizational matters.
