MoD launches beta testing of new deferments in Reserve+

New categories of mobilization deferments will soon be available in the Reserve+ mobile app.

The following categories will be able to obtain a deferment online:

  • single parents raising a child under the age of 18;
  • individuals providing care for a parent with a disability.

The Ministry of Defence invites citizens from these categories to join the beta testing and be among the first to use the new functionality. To participate, please fill out a short form using the link.

As a reminder, the online application for deferment operates as follows: request submission in Reserve+ → the system verifies eligibility through the relevant state registers → upon confirmation, the deferment is granted and the information is displayed in the electronic military document.

The process is fully automated, usually takes only a few hours, and does not require collecting certificates, visiting enlistment offices, or waiting through lengthy case review procedures. Reserve+ enables the issuance of decisions in a transparent and timely manner without unnecessary bureaucracy.

Currently, the following categories are eligible to obtain a deferment through Reserve+:

  • individuals with disabilities;
  • parents of three or more children born to the same marriage;
  • parents of children with disabilities;
  • spouses who are service members with a child;
  • spouses of individuals with disabilities;
  • individuals deemed temporarily unfit for service;
  • students and postgraduates;
  • employees of higher and vocational education institutions.
