MoD integrates codification service for new weapons and military equipment into ZBROYA and BRAVE1 portal ecosystems

The Window for Weapons and Military Equipment Manufacturers platform has become more accessible and user-friendly for defense industry enterprises. The capabilities of the online codification service have been integrated into the ecosystems of ZBROYA, Ukraine’s state services and opportunities portal for weapons manufacturers, and BRAVE1, the support cluster for Defense Tech developments in Ukraine.

Users can currently reach the ‘Window for Weapons and Military Equipment Manufacturers’ platform via several entry points:

  • Direct access: https://mil-tech.mod.gov.ua/;
  • Via the Ministry of Defence website (under the ‘Innovative Projects’ section, by selecting the ‘Arsenal’ tab);
  • Via the BRAVE1 Defense Tech support cluster website;
  • Via the ZBROYA portal, which provides state services and opportunities for weapons manufacturers in Ukraine.

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reminds manufacturers of weapons and military equipment about the capabilities of the updated online service at https://mil-tech.mod.gov.ua/

On the Window for Weapons and Military Equipment Manufacturers online resource, Ukrainian weapons manufacturers can find step-by-step guidance on preparing their products for codification. Standard templates of the required documents are also available for download. Specific guidelines are also provided for the codification of unmanned systems, electronic warfare (EW) systems, and ammunition.

Manufacturers may apply for the codification of new weapon models directly through the online portal at https://mil-tech.mod.gov.ua/  

To do this, they need to:

  • Click the Submit application button;
  • Fill out the electronic form;
  • Attach the required documents.

Applicants will receive email notifications regarding the status of their application.

In addition, the ‘Window for Weapons and Military Equipment Manufacturers’ platform offers an information support service for weapons manufacturers. Weapons manufacturers can submit their questions about the codification procedure for new weapons and military equipment through the online form on the website.
