The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine is scaling up the production of anti-drone ammunition to support Ukrainian defenders.

The MoD has codified rounds of this type from several Ukrainian manufacturers, and they are now ready for serial production.

“With anti-drone ammunition, Ukrainian service members will be able to counter enemy FPV and Mavic drones more effectively. This ammunition features a specialized charge that greatly increases the likelihood of downing a russian drone,” stated Minister of Defence of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.

He added that these rounds do not require dedicated weapons, as they can be loaded into standard-issue weapon systems.

“We are working to bring more new and effective weapons into the arsenal of our military, enhancing their combat strength and reinforcing Ukraine’s defense capability,” the Minister of Defence underlined.
