MoD comprehensively inspects the catering services in military units

The leadership of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has initiated the inspections of the catering services for military personnel in the northern, eastern, and southern sectors.

The inspections were conducted with the participation of officials from the MoD, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT), and experts in veterinary medicine.

“The inspection addresses all key phases - from storage conditions in suppliers' warehouses to the onsite food services arrangement within military units deployed in combat zones,” said Deputy Defence Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov.

The Ministry of Defence is implementing the required steps to enhance quality control on products supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and to detect any breaches for quick resolution.

The results of all inspections will be communicated later. We are not stopping our efforts and are dedicated to continue providing our defenders with quality and balanced nutrition," emphasized Dmytro Klimenkov.

Such inspections will be carried out regularly in different regions of Ukraine without prior notice to military units and suppliers.
