MoD allocates 1.5 hectares of defense-designated land for the establishment of the Heroes Memorial in Lviv

The Ministry of Defence has approved the de-registration and subsequent transfer of a 1.5455-hectare land plot to the Lviv city authorities for the establishment of the Heroes of Ukraine Military Burial Memorial Complex.

The Ministry of Defence leadership approved the relevant decision on November 20.

“This step is an expression of profound respect for Ukraine’s Defenders and provides the necessary legal basis to begin implementing the approved memorial complex project,” emphasized Minister of Defence Denys Shmyhal.
