Two plots of land in the Vinnytsia region, with an area of about 500 hectares and a value of UAH 17 million, have been returned to the Ministry of Defence and for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On the basis of illegal decisions by local authorities, these lands were taken out of state ownership and transferred to private entities. While the case was going through a number of courts, the real estate complex of the military town located on these lands was being used for commercial purposes.

The court confirmed the illegal nature of the actions and decided to reclaim the land from unlawful possession and return it to state ownership through the Ministry of Defence.

The Ministry of Defence has successfully registered the ownership of these lands. The returned lands, which are important for the development and effective functioning of our country's combat readiness, can now be used for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
