Military College of Sergeant Staff at the Kharkiv National University of Air Force invites applicants

The Military College of the Kharkiv National Air Force University invites men and women to pursue a prestigious military education and build a professional career in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

The College trains military specialists in the following areas of specialization:

  • Complexes and automation means of the automated command and control system for aviation and air defense;
  • Unmanned aerial systems for operational-tactical, operational, and strategic classes;
  • Maintenance of military aircraft, helicopters, and aviation engines;
  • Aviation armament;
  • Operation of aviation equipment for military aircraft and helicopters;
  • Operation of radio-electronic equipment of aircraft, helicopters, and aviation missiles;
  • Operation of ground-based electronic and information support systems for aviation flights;
  • Operation of medium-range air defense missile systems and complexes;
  • Operation of radio-electronic systems for information support and control of air defense missile systems and complexes;
  • Operation of radar systems and equipment;
  • Operation of air defense weapon systems and complexes of the Land Forces.

All cadets study free of charge, receive material provisions, and are entitled to the benefits accorded to military personnel. The study duration is 2 years.

Who is eligible to enroll?

  • Civilian citizens of Ukraine, both men and women, aged 17 to 30 years (including those who turn 17 in the year of enrollment);
  • Military personnel and individuals liable for military service aged 18 to 30. 

Applicants must have completed a full general secondary education. Admission is also open to holders of a qualified worker diploma, junior specialist diploma, professional junior bachelor’s degree, junior bachelor’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or master’s degree.

Admission to the College is based on the results of the National Multi-Subject Test (NMST) or entrance examinations in the Ukrainian language, mathematics, or Ukrainian history, conducted directly at the College.

The College has implemented digital learning environments and interactive platforms. The educational process is grounded in current combat experience, including analysis of the employment of modern weaponry and military equipment.

Lecturers and instructors with combat experience who have received training abroad in NATO member states teach classes. 

College graduates also have the opportunity to enter the 2nd or 3rd year of study at the Kharkiv National University of the Air Force or other military higher education institutions to pursue a bachelor’s degree, providing a fast-track route to an officer’s commission.
