Military College of Sergeant Staff at the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy invites applicants

The Military College of Sergeant Staff of the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy invites young individuals who aspire to receive a modern military education to join its ranks.

Graduates of the College serve in NCO positions within combat units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Before beginning the core curriculum, cadets undergo basic general military training. During their studies, they also complete an intermediate leadership course, along with practical training and internships in military units.

Training specializations include: 

  1. Military Command and Control:
  • Command and control of artillery units;
  • Command and control of mechanized units.
  1. Support to Troops:
  • Construction and maintenance of special and general military-purpose buildings and structures;
  • Supplying troops with rocket fuel, fuel, and lubricants;
  • Accommodation and housing maintenance support for troops;
  • Military property storage management;
  • Storage and maintenance of missile and artillery weaponry;
  • Organization of transportation and management of automotive transport;
  • Food service management in military units;
  • Radiation and chemical monitoring.
  1. Weapons and Military Equipment:
  • Operation and maintenance of road construction, bridge-building, and engineering machinery and equipment;
  • Operation and maintenance of engineering machinery;
  • Operation, maintenance, and repair of armored vehicles and weapons;
  • Artillery reconnaissance systems, instruments, and devices;
  • Installation and operation of electrical equipment for power plants and energy systems;
  • Servicing and repair of vehicles and engines.
  1. Fire Safety:
  • Fire protection management and equipment.

Women have equal access to all specialties through the standard admission process. 

Throughout their studies, cadets are provided with: 

  • accommodation;
  • meals;
  • gear and clothing;
  • financial support.

Education is state-funded under a government placement program. It is delivered at the level of Professional Junior Bachelor over a period of 2 or 2.5 years in a full-time format, under the “cadet” scheme with the status of military personnel.

Graduates are awarded a diploma of state standard by the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy.

Applications are open to Ukrainian citizens aged 16 (provided they turn 17 by the end of 2025) to 30, who have completed full general secondary, vocational, professional-technical, pre-higher, or higher education, and do not hold officer ranks.

Admission to the Military College of Sergeant Staff is based on the results of the National Multi-Subject Test (NMST) or entrance examinations, along with a medical examination, psychological assessment, and physical fitness test.
