Member nations of the Artillery Coalition discussed the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces through the year 2027

The members of the Artillery Capabilities Coalition in Support of Ukraine convened to coordinate a roadmap outlining the Ukrainian Defense Forces' requirements through the year 2027.

An online session of the Coalition, co-chaired by France and the United States, included representatives from 14 nations, along with officials from the EU and NATO.

Officials representing participating countries discussed how their nations could contribute to meeting these demands and explored opportunities to invest in Ukraine's military industry.

The Artillery Coalition was launched in January this year in Paris. The Coalition comprises nations with advanced technological capabilities to manufacture cutting-edge artillery systems, munitions, artillery reconnaissance assets, unmanned targeting systems, and fire control systems.

By the end of 2027, the Coalition aims to equip the Ukrainian Defense Forces with sustainable, integrated artillery capabilities that ensure interoperability with NATO. This initiative seeks to enhance the Ukrainian Armed Forces' capacity to withstand russian invasions, deter potential future invasions, neutralize russia's firepower and combat capabilities, and establish interoperability with NATO.

The Artillery Coalition was created within the framework of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (Ramstein format). Currently, there are also other coalitions supporting Ukraine, including the Air Force Coalition, the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Coalition, the Armor and Maneuverability Coalition, the Maritime Capabilities Coalition, the Drone Coalition, the Mine Action Coalition, and the IT Coalition.
