Losses of the russian army in 2025: equivalent of 35 divisions of personnel, 14,000 artillery systems, 40,000 units of automotive equipment

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, irreversible and sanitary losses of russian occupying forces in 2025 exceeded 418,000 soldiers, roughly equal to almost 35 divisions. In 2025, russia lost an average of 1,145 soldiers per day.

Overall, since the onset of the full-scale invasion, the russian army has lost 35,678 artillery systems.

In 2025, record losses of enemy automotive equipment were recorded, totaling approximately 40,000 units—more than the combined losses of 2022–2024. Overall, the warriors of the Defence Forces have neutralized 72,418 units of enemy automotive equipment.
