Kateryna Chernohorenko: In October, a recruitment functionality will be available on the Reserve+ app

The recruitment feature in the Reserve+ app will be available in October 2024. With the upcoming update, app users will be able to see available positions in the military units, making it easier to choose where they want to serve in the future.

The new functionality was announced by Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development, in her address at the IT Arena conference in Lviv. According to her, this will significantly expand the range of services provided by the Ministry of Defence for both military personnel and civilians.

“Our goal was to develop the Reserve+ app into a versatile tool that not only updates data but also provides a quick and easy way for individuals liable for military service, conscripts, or reservists to resolve their concerns just in a few clicks. One important initiative we are undertaking to make this happen is giving them the opportunity to choose where they want to serve. There will be a progressive enhancement in the app's functionality. We are eager to receive feedback from users regarding their experiences,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko.

Reserve+ app's new recruitment functionality is designed to help users identify roles most suitable for them based on their experience, skills, and preferences. It is crucial to mention that there will be availability for both combat-related and non-combat positions.

Users will be required to complete a short form before searching for available positions. The system will recommend the most suitable options based on the provided information and selected skills. The application will describe the open positions, including information about the brigades, their command, achievements, and media publications.

The app offers a streamlined position selection process along with efficient system algorithms. With a user-friendly and intuitive interface, decision-making can be done swiftly. To do so, you will need to click the "plus" button to keep the offer for later consideration or click the "minus" button to dismiss it.

To reiterate, the Reserve+ application was launched on May 16, the day the new Law on Mobilization came into force. Since then, more than 3 million Ukrainians updated their information and generated an electronic military document.
