Kateryna Chernohorenko: Digital transformation and the Army+ app have helped military personnel save UAH 4.5 million

Over the month since the launch of the ‘Pluses’ National Support Program for Service Members, 35,000 service members have taken advantage of offers from major businesses. Three companies have already joined the Program: the Ukrainian railway operator Ukrzaliznytsia JSC, Ukrnafta PJSC, and the logistics company Nova Poshta. 

This was announced by Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development, while presenting the ‘Pluses’ Program to Ukrainian businesses.

During the meeting with Diia.City Union residents, over 100 businesses were introduced to the first results of the ‘Pluses’ Program and the Ministry of Defence's plans for further platform development.

Current statistics for service members using the ‘Pluses’ Program are as follows:

• ordered 4,800 tickets from Ukrzaliznytsia's special reserve
• bought over 820,000 liters of discounted fuel from Ukrnafta, saving more than UAH 2 million on fuel and meal expenses
• generated 40,000 barcodes and have already used them to send 16,000 parcels for only 1 UAH via Nova Poshta.

“Now, more than ever, it is essential for service members to feel the support around them and know they are not forgotten or neglected. This is the sentiment we aim to convey together with the Program partners. And this has resonated, which is very gratifying and motivates us to work even harder. The ‘Pluses’ Program’ offers are now available to 630,000 service members in the Army+ app. Our data shows that the military has already saved approximately UAH 4.5 million through the ‘Pluses’ Program and its cooperation with partners. This is why we will keep attracting large companies with the most attractive offers to our initiative,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko.
