Kateryna Chernohorenko: Army+ introduces a multi-signature feature for commanders

The Army+ app now offers multi-signature functionality for reports. It enables the simultaneous processing of multiple reports.

Henceforth, unit commanders can use the multi-signature feature to process dozens of reports from subordinates that appear in the ‘Reports’ section under the ‘To be reviewed’ tab. Decisions to approve or reject are made by swiping right or left, respectively.  A filter function is also available to mark the necessary reports.

Up to 40 reports—such as leave requests—can be selected at once and approved simultaneously using Diia.Signature or SmartID.

Reports cannot be rejected in bulk, as each rejection must be justified.

“We were often asked whether we planned to enable signing multiple reports at once, since signing each individually and repeatedly confirming with Diia.Signature was tiring for commanders. We always listen to user requests and act on them, so we are pleased to launch the multi-signature functionality and help further reduce the administrative burden on our military personnel,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.

Make sure your app is version 2.2.0 or higher. The Army+ application should only be downloaded from the Play Store or App Store. The links are also available on the official application page: https://aplus.mod.gov.ua/.

The report functionality in the Army+ app was launched in August 2024. With the addition of the new reports, the total number now stands at 36. During this period, a total of 570,000 reports were fully processed, with the majority (60%) receiving approval. The most popular of these are for health recovery (28%), for annual leave (23%), and for change of duty station (21%).
