The 2025 admissions campaign is underway. The Department of Military Training at Ivano‑Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUOG) invites applications for its POL (Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants) Service Officer training program.

During their studies, cadets will gain both academic knowledge and practical experience in the transportation, storage, quality control, and distribution of petroleum products.

“Without fuel, planes don’t take off, vehicles don’t move, and the army doesn’t advance. Effective and timely logistics often determine the result of a battle. Specialists in fuel storage, transportation, and quality control do everything possible to ensure its uninterrupted supply to units,” said Colonel Andrii Stanetskyi, Head of the Department of Military Training.

Graduates of the Department serve in engineering and technical positions within units of the Logistics Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as chiefs of POL Services in military units across all branches and components of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including the Special Operations Forces and the Ministry of Defence's Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, as well as in military administration bodies and Operational Commands.

•    Monthly remuneration starting at UAH 8,000.

The Department offers:

An integrated training system. The University’s scientific and technical potential is effectively integrated with the combat experience of the Logistics Forces. IFNTUOG is the only technical university in Ukraine with Level IV accreditation that trains specialists specifically for the oil and gas industry.

Facilities and infrastructure: 16 specialized classrooms, a training and laboratory complex, a computer lab, and accommodation in a cadet dormitory.

Sports infrastructure. A stadium, an indoor swimming pool, an athletics arena, and five specialized gyms.

Opportunities for career growth, further education, and professional development. Mastery of digital accounting systems for fuel and lubricants, in-depth study of a foreign language tailored to logistics, and the development of additional competencies in storage, transportation, and quality control of fuels and lubricants.

Admission requirements for applicants:
•    Citizens of Ukraine aged 17 to 30 years (including those turning 17 in the year of enrollment);
•    Military personnel and individuals liable for military service who do not hold officer ranks, aged 18 to 30;
•   Completion of full general secondary education.

Admission to the University is based on the results of the National Multi-Subject Test (NMST), entrance exams, medical examination, psychological evaluation, and physical fitness test. Applications are accepted until July 15, 2025.
