IT coalition: the initiative led by Estonia and Luxembourg provided Ukraine with equipment worth 900,000 euros
This is the first order of equipment received by the Armed Forces of Ukraine within the IT coalition led by Estonia and Luxembourg.
Laptops, monitors, and other communication equipment worth 900,000 euros will be distributed to units in the near future. The efficient and prompt procurement was made possible thanks to the NATO Support and Procurement Agency.
"The provided equipment will enhance communication and mission planning capabilities at the tactical level. This is one of our priorities - to fulfill requests from units for communication on the front line. We are grateful to our partners for their commitment and speed in decision-making," said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Transformation, Digital Development, and Digitization.
Note: The IT coalition is a dedicated group of Nations within the Ukraine Defence Contact Group ("Ramstein format") led by Estonia and Luxembourg, focused on providing support to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the IT, communication, and cybersecurity areas. Within the IT coalition, financial and in-kind contributions totaling more than 36 million euros have already been gathered, and more than 23 million euros additionally are expected to be transferred.
