In April, russian aviation dropped over 5,000 guided aerial bombs

Despite the international community's efforts to halt russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, the kremlin continues to terrorize Ukrainians.

Throughout April, there was a rise in enemy air attacks involving guided aerial bombs (GABs) on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and civilian areas. More than 5,000 GABs were dropped by russian aircraft in April, targeting both Defence Forces positions and frontline localities. A quarter of them—over 1,200—were used by the enemy against the positions of our troops in the Kursk region.

As a reminder, in 2024, the enemy dropped approximately 40,000 guided aerial bombs. Since the beginning of 2025, enemy aircraft have deployed more than 15,000 GABs.
