‘Hunters of Shaheds’ to exercise on the 'Safe Sky' simulator
The Ministry of Defence has codified and authorized the use of the portable 'Safe Sky' simulator to train anti-aircraft fire teams.
The device integrates with the weapons operated by anti-aircraft gunners.
“The simulator enables practice without requiring the use of ammunition. Hunter crews targeting enemy aerial threats can conduct exercises anywhere,” said Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov.
The simulator includes a feature that provides helpful tips to assist trainees during their exercises.
The simulator also features a system for assessments and scoring at each intermediate stage of the training. This approach enables instructors to objectively assess the trainees' skills.
Manufacturers and designers of weapons and military equipment are encouraged to contact the Main Department of Support for the Lifecycle of Weapons and Military Equipment via email for further inquiries regarding the codification process: [email protected].
