Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy welcomes applications from motivated youth

Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy, a premier institution of military education in Ukraine, has opened its admissions process.
The Academy prepares highly qualified officer personnel for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and welcomes applications from young men and women who meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Citizens of Ukraine aged 17 to 30 years (including those turning 17 in the year of enrollment);
- Military personnel and individuals liable for military service who do not hold officer ranks, aged 18 to 30.
The key requirements are a genuine commitment to serve Ukraine, medical fitness, and successful completion of the entrance examinations.
Specialized training of cadets to become officers (bachelor’s degree, full-time format):
- Commanders of mechanized forces, artillery, artillery reconnaissance, and engineer units;
- Armament and equipment specialists for engineer forces;
- Military cultural affairs specialists and officers for psychological support;
- Specialists in personnel management, mobilization, and organizational and staffing operations.
Contract military personnel (privates and non-commissioned officers) can earn a bachelor's degree in a civilian specialty through distance learning: J8 Automotive Transport.
“Today, Ukraine needs motivated and professionally trained officers. The Academy is the institution where such personnel are trained. The institution’s infrastructure comprises more than 200 specialized classrooms, modern training centers, training grounds, libraries, and more. The educational process is delivered by experienced lecturers and instructors. The Academy invites young people ready to take responsibility for the country’s future,” said Colonel Oleksii Krasiuk, Deputy Head of the Academy for Academic Affairs.
Admission to the Academy is based on the results of the National Multi-Subject Test (NMST), entrance exams, medical examination, and psychological evaluation. Applications are accepted until July 1, 2025.
