Government streamlines automatic extension of deferments for individuals providing care or guardianship

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a decision that streamlines the automatic extension of deferments from conscription during mobilization for a specific category of individuals liable for military service. 

The Government has specified which documents must be submitted to ensure the automatic extension of deferments for individuals liable for military service who provide guardianship, care, or maintenance support to an adult.

The update now allows the submission of the taxpayer identification number of the adult receiving guardianship, care, permanent supervision, or maintenance support.

Ensuring the availability of such data will facilitate effective electronic interoperability between the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Persons Liable for Military Service, and Reservists and other state registers (databases) during the automatic extension of deferments.

The introduced changes guarantee accurate and uninterrupted functioning of the automatic deferment extension mechanism for this category of citizens.
