Following two months of activity, Army+ has seen the submission of 10 000 reports
Since August 8, 2024, service members have submitted over 10 000 electronic reports via the Army+ app. These are documents that they signed in the app and submitted to their commanders using their Army ID. The legal efficacy of these documents is equivalent to that of standard paper forms.
“The number of reports filed is increasing by 150-200 daily. And this is an excellent indicator, as more and more service members acknowledge the advantages of utilizing electronic reporting, which ensures rapid creation and eliminates the risk of loss or error, unlike conventional paper reports,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.
More than 1 000 military units have already put Army+ into practice. Approximately 4 000 electronic reports have already been processed within the Electronic Document Management System (СЕДО), receiving either approval or rejection along with the reasons provided. One out of every four reports processed via Army+ pertains to the Air Assault Forces, who are the leaders in this respect. Currently, the Army+ application offers 11 report types grouped into four categories: Leave, Referral Issuance, Referral, and Assistance. The app will soon include new additions to report types.
The Army+ app is safe and secure. Personal information is not stored on the mobile device but is retrieved from external registers. The application is hosted within cloud infrastructure. The application and its infrastructure are accredited as an Integrated Information Security System (IISS) and integrated with a monitoring system for cyber incident responses.
