Expanding the pool of vendors delivering quality supplies to the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Nearly 70 applications have already been approved via the MoD Partner Portal

The MoD Partner Portal, launched in the summer of 2024 to streamline and digitize interactions with vendors providing non-lethal supplies to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has already received 225 applications. Among them were requests for military (experimental) tests, clarifications and applications for certificates of conformity for rear service property with the Ministry of Defence's regulatory and technical documentation.

After evaluating the applications for conformity certificates, the Ministry of Defence approved 68 requests. Currently, 22 applications are still undergoing review.

“The initial results of the MoD Partner digital portal highlight manufacturers' and suppliers' interest in collaborating with the Ministry of Defence, as well as contractors' readiness to meet modern requirements,” said Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov.

From August 2 to November 18, a total of 4,200 users accessed or engaged with the MoD Partner platform.

The main goal of the digital portal is to broaden the pool of vendors providing quality non-lethal supplies for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, establish effective communication between the Ministry of Defence and manufacturers (suppliers), and ensure maximum transparency in the procurement process. The Ministry of Defence will continue refining the Platform to foster more efficient partnerships with businesses.

To recap, the Ministry of Defence has implemented a personal account feature for suppliers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the digital portal MoD Partner. This feature allows contractors to track the status of their applications in real time. Applicants will receive an email notification if the status changes. Furthermore, the account functionality will support archiving the entire application history. The digital portal also includes a chat feature for direct communication with site administrators.
