Digitalizing the dialogue between the Ministry of Defence and businesses: since the beginning of the year, 103 requests have been approved through the 'MoD Partner' platform

In January-February 2025, 315 requests from manufacturers and suppliers were processed through the ‘MoD Partner’ platform. Among them were applications for conducting military (experimental) tests of gear and clothing items, providing clarifications, transferring a reference sample, and conducting a preliminary check of the completeness of the document package for gear and clothing items to obtain a Conformity Certificate, etc.

“Since the beginning of the year, the Main Directorate of Logistics Support Development has granted 103 Conformity Certificates, recognizing 30 manufacturers participating in tenders within the Prozorro system to supply gear and clothing assets. This means that businesses also communicate with the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine online to facilitate their further participation in tenders,” said Glib Kanievskyi, Director of the Procurement Policy Department at the Ministry of Defence.

From now on, visiting the Central Directorate for a detailed review of reference samples, submission of new materials, provision of gear and clothing items, etc., requires only the completion of Application No. 5 on the ‘MoD Partner’ platform, selection of a convenient date and time, and receipt of confirmation.

The ‘MoD Partner’ platform was launched in the summer of 2024 as part of the program backed by the UK Special Adviser on Defence, funded by the UK government. The platform was created to digitalize processes and facilitate interaction with suppliers of non-lethal assets for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The platform's primary goal is to establish effective communication between the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and manufacturers (suppliers) while ensuring maximum transparency in the procurement processes.
