Deputy Ministers of Defence discussed the enhancement of Ukraine's defense capabilities with the European Parliament delegation

As part of the inaugural International Forum "Space for Ukraine," Deputy Defence Ministers Sergiy Boyev and Kateryna Chernohorenko held negotiations with a delegation from the European Parliament.
The European delegation included Members of the European Parliament Riho Terras and Lucia Yar, as well as the Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, Katarína Mathernová.
Sergiy Boyev expressed gratitude to the European partners for their steadfast support. He emphasized that russia's aggressive plans remain unchanged and call for a unified response from European partners.
“Every vote in our support matters. We are ramping up our domestic weapons production, but we still require assistance in several key areas. These include air defense, long-range weapons, and ammunition,” said Sergiy Boyev.
During the meeting, the parties examined ways to enhance Ukraine's defense capabilities and discussed joint initiatives in security technologies. Additionally, the discussion focused on the allocation of new aid financed by revenues from frozen russian assets, with a particular emphasis on the development of Ukraine's defense industry.
Particular attention was given to the prospects for strengthening European defense capabilities, particularly in the context of the White Paper for European Defence.
