Denys Shmyhal: We must ensure domestic defense industry is supplied with components from Ukrainian manufacturers
Minister of Defence of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Anna Gvozdiar, together with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, visited a company that manufactures electronics and components for Ukrainian weapons.
In particular, the company manufactures circuit boards, electronic modules, and other components.
“Such production facilities are expanding, driven by the rapid development and high demand for innovative weapons such as drones, electronic warfare systems, radars, and more,” said Denys Shmyhal.
The Minister of Defence noted that the state provides support to the defense industry. Specifically, manufacturers of weapons and military equipment are eligible for concessional loans. The ‘Made for Victory’ program is also available to manufacturers.
“We are developing new mechanisms to streamline the search for Ukrainian manufacturers of components for the defense industry. Ukraine’s defense industry is expanding at a swift pace. We are building a strong shield for a safe and peaceful future,” emphasized Denys Shmyhal.
