Denys Shmyhal visits frontline units defending the Donetsk region
Ukraine's Minister of Defence, Denys Shmyhal, visited the warriors defending the Donetsk region.
In particular, the Minister of Defence inspected the command post of the 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade and received briefings on the situation in the Kostiantynivka sector of responsibility.
“We discussed implementing new approaches in the military. We also focused on strengthening the units with modern communication systems, electronic warfare (EW) equipment, drones, and ground robotic systems. I thanked the warriors for their heroism and courage,” said Denys Shmyhal.
The Minister of Defence also visited the operational area of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade ‘Edelweiss’ and met with the brigade’s command staff.
Denys Shmyhal received briefings on the organization of combat operations and logistics.
“We focused in detail on measures to enhance support for units and improve overall service conditions. I thanked the warriors for their resilience and strong contribution to Ukraine’s defense,” concluded the Minister of Defence.
