Denys Shmyhal visited a training area in the United Kingdom hosting the training of Ukrainian service members

During his visit to the United Kingdom, Ukraine's Defence Minister Denys Shmyhal visited a training area where Ukrainian service members are undergoing training.
He toured the training facilities for our military, who are trained by instructors from the armed forces of the United Kingdom, Romania, Albania, Denmark, Australia, Finland, Sweden, New Zealand, Kosovo, Lithuania, and Estonia.
The Minister of Defence spoke with the service members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the foreign instructors, heard their feedback on the training process, and received a briefing from the commander of Operation Interflex.
“More than 60,000 Ukrainian service members have already been trained as part of the Operation since June 2022. It is important that the allies incorporate the lessons of modern warfare into their training, and that the training conditions closely replicate real combat scenarios,” noted Denys Shmyhal.
He also attended the graduation ceremony of a group of 150 service members who will soon join the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
The Minister of Defence of Ukraine also presented awards to Ukrainian and foreign service members.
