Denys Shmyhal: The network of military lyceums in Ukraine will be expanded
Minister of Defence of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal visited the Kyiv Military Lyceum named after Ivan Bohun to mark the start of the academic year.
He congratulated the cadets and teaching staff on September 1, the first day of the academic year.
“Military education is the cornerstone of the modern Ukrainian military. Knowledge empowers success on the battlefield and fosters ingenuity, resilience, and inventiveness in military operations,” emphasized Denys Shmyhal
The Minister of Defence also wished the cadets success and new achievements, encouraging them to transform bold ideas and initiatives into actions for the benefit of the country.
“We are committed to ensuring the continued expansion of Ukraine’s military lyceum network. The Ministry of Defence is working to establish at least one such lyceum in every region. There is significant demand among young people for high-quality military education, and we will ensure all necessary conditions for its development,” said the Minister of Defence.
