Denys Shmyhal: PURL support program has already brought together 11 countries

Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, met with NATO Secretary General, Mark Rutte, and emphasized NATO’s determination and steadfast support for Ukraine.
The parties discussed Ukraine’s urgent defense needs. The Minister of Defence of Ukraine highlighted the effectiveness of the PURL support program, which has already brought together 11 countries.
“Our partners understand that the kremlin has no intention of stopping. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen assistance to Ukraine and increase pressure on the aggressor. To this end, we coordinated our subsequent actions,” said Denys Shmyhal.
He also underscored that Mr. Rutte’s address at the Ramstein-format meeting once again reaffirmed NATO’s determination and steadfast support for Ukraine.
“We value NATO’s role in ensuring close coordination among partners, particularly in the ‘Ramstein’ format. We look forward to further deepening cooperation and strengthening our defense capabilities,” concluded the Minister of Defence of Ukraine.
