Denys Shmyhal met with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates
Minister of Defence of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with Staff Lieutenant General Pilot Ibrahim Nasser Al-Alawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates.
The Minister of Defence of Ukraine expressed gratitude for the humanitarian support provided by the UAE.
“I underscored the vital role of the UAE in facilitating the release of Ukrainians held in captivity. We greatly appreciate this partnership that helps bring our people back home,” said Denys Shmyhal.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation to enhance the security of both countries. Denys Shmyhal thanked the delegation from the UAE for their visit and constructive dialogue.
