Denys Shmyhal discusses strengthening aviation capabilities with Saab delegation
On the sidelines of the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) exhibition, Ukraine’s Defence Minister Denys Shmyhal met with a delegation from the Swedish company Saab.
The discussion focused primarily on strengthening Ukraine’s aviation capabilities.
“Ukraine attaches great importance to cooperation with Sweden in implementing the Aviation Development Roadmap in line with NATO standards,” emphasized Denys Shmyhal.
Another important matter was the supply of radars produced by Saab.
The parties agreed to continue their cooperation to strengthen the Defence Forces’ situational awareness in the airspace.
“I am grateful to Sweden and Saab for their consistent support,” concluded Denys Shmyhal.
