Denys Shmyhal and U.S. delegation discussed launch of joint ventures and investment projects

Ukraine’s Minister of Defence Denys Shmyhal met with the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, Julie S. Davis, and a delegation from the United States International Development Finance Corporation (DFC).

The Defense Minister conveyed appreciation to the United States for its comprehensive support, noting that Ukraine attaches great importance to military and economic cooperation with this strategic partner.

The parties discussed the next steps in developing the defense industry, specifically the prospects for launching new joint ventures and large-scale investment projects.

“U.S. producers are demonstrating considerable interest in cooperation with Ukraine. I am grateful to our partners for the constructive dialogue and their willingness to advance our cooperation,” emphasized Denys Shmyhal.
