Denys Shmyhal and Poland’s Minister of National Defence honour the fallen for Ukraine
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence of Poland, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, arrived in Kyiv on an official visit. Ukraine’s Minister of Defence, Denys Shmyhal, together with his Polish counterpart, participated in a ceremony to honour the memory of those who gave their lives for Ukraine.
In particular, the defence ministers laid flowers at the Wall of Remembrance on Mykhailivska Square in the heart of Ukraine’s capital.
“Eternal memory to the defenders who gave their lives in the struggle for our independence and freedom,” stated Denys Shmyhal.
As part of the visit, the Minister of National Defence of Poland will meet with a delegation of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. The agenda of the meeting includes the development of military cooperation and continued support for Ukraine in the face of russian aggression.
