Denys Shmyhal and Keith Kellogg discussed the security situation in Ukraine and Europe

Minister of Defence of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met in Kyiv with the U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Ukraine, General Keith Kellogg.
The Defence Minister expressed gratitude for the substantial support provided by the United States to Ukraine.
The Ukrainian side briefed General Kellogg on the outcomes of this week’s Ramstein-format meeting, during which Ukraine received strong signals of support.
The parties also discussed the prospect of the Defence Forces of Ukraine receiving new Patriot systems and corresponding ammunition.
“We briefed the delegation on the battlefield situation and on the details of the russian provocation against Poland. Through such actions, russia is testing NATO’s response, and the allies’ reaction must be coordinated and resolute. I called for stronger sanctions pressure on the aggressor,” said the Minister of Defence of Ukraine.
