DELTA: basic training course in Army+
The Ministry of Defence has launched a basic training course on the DELTA combat system. The course is accessible via the Army+ app. It delivers basic instruction on the DELTA combat ecosystem, enabling the Defence Forces to obtain a comprehensive battlefield picture, plan missions, and coordinate activities across units.
The course introduces military personnel to DELTA's operational principles, provides practical guidance on using its main modules, and explains how to employ the system effectively in mission execution.
Among the course topics are map operations in DELTA Monitor, terrain analysis, UAV mission planning in Mission Control, target engagement management in Target Hub, and combat video analysis in Vezha.
“DELTA gathers and analyses data from various sources, enabling every service member to have an accurate operational picture and act faster and in a coordinated manner. Training through the Army+ app will enable thousands of service members to quickly master the system, use its analytical capabilities and situational awareness tools, and coordinate actions on the battlefield,” said Yurii Myronenko, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine.
The course consists of eleven modules and more than fifty practical lessons covering the full cycle of work within the DELTA ecosystem. To consolidate knowledge, the course includes intermediate assessments and a final examination.
Army+ currently offers sixteen training courses, with over 140,000 service members improving their professional and personal skills through the app.
