Defense and joint investment: Rustem Umerov took part in the NORDEFCO+Ukraine meeting

Ukraine's Defence Minister Rustem Umerov participated in the NORDEFCO+Ukraine meeting—a cooperation format with Scandinavian countries.

During the meeting, the parties discussed mechanisms of support to address Ukraine's critical defense needs. Particular attention was given to joint investments.

“By combining production capabilities, innovation, and financial resources, we can manufacture military equipment and weaponry in the necessary volumes,” Rustem Umerov emphasized.

The Minister of Defence thanked the partners for their ongoing support and constructive dialogue.

Reference information: The Nordic Defence Cooperation (NORDEFCO) is a defense coalition formed by the Nordic countries: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland. It was established in 2009 to reduce defense costs and enhance the efficiency of the army, navy, and air force.
