In particular, Denys Shmyhal discussed with his Canadian counterpart ways to deepen bilateral cooperation in the defence industry.
"I thanked him for his significant support – since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine has received CAD 6.5 billion in military assistance. I outlined our urgent needs. We coordinated further cooperation, as well as the possibility of Canada joining the PURL mechanism," said the Defence Minister of Ukraine.
He expressed gratitude to the Government and people of Canada for their high level of support in Ukraine’s fight for freedom and a just peace.
In a conversation with Minister of Defence of Slovenia, Borut Sajovic, Denys Shmyhal stressed the need to ensure long-term, sustainable and timely supplies of weapons and ammunition to defend Ukraine and contain the spread of war in Europe.

I thanked Slovenia for its active participation in the mechanisms and initiatives supporting Ukraine, and for its solidarity with the Ukrainian people," emphasized the Defence Minister of Ukraine.
