Capable of clearing 2 hectares daily: First Ukrainian heavy remote humanitarian demining system certified

The GART 5100, developed by Ukrainian engineering firm XTI Engineering, has become the first heavy remote demining system to complete state certification. Certified by the State Scientific Research Institute of Armament and Military Equipment Testing and Certification, the system is now poised for serial production.

The GART 5100 is designed to neutralize various types of mines and explosive ordnance by detonating or destroying them using either a mine flail or a demining tiller.

This system is entirely designed and manufactured in Ukraine, streamlining logistics, ensuring rapid delivery, and facilitating maintenance and repairs.

It can be operated remotely from a distance of 600 meters, ensuring operator safety. By using a range extender, the system's safe control distance can be extended to more than 1 kilometer. The system features a wide-angle camera array.

The operating speed is 1.5 km/h. The system can clear more than 2 hectares of explosive hazard-contaminated terrain within a single daylight operational period. It is capable of demining up to a depth of 300 mm. The interchangeable equipment enables the system to be customized for different soil types.
