Brave1 grant program: Missile and explosives manufacturers can receive over UAH 100 million in development funding

The Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Digital Transformation have launched new grant competitions for Ukrainian manufacturers of missiles and explosives as part of the Brave1 defence cluster.
Specifically, the grant program is open to manufacturers of:
- Tactical ballistic missiles;
- Surface-to-air missile systems for countering UAVs.
Manufacturers of anti-UAV and ballistic missiles will be able to receive over UAH 100 million for their developments.
“Supporting these areas will foster the growth of missile production by the private sector, enable the development of long-range weapons, and strengthen air defense,” emphasized Ukraine’s Minister of Defence, Denys Shmyhal.
The grant program also welcomes applications from manufacturers of explosives, specifically:
- Brisant explosives;
- Initiating explosives, in conjunction with the manufacture of initiation devices;
- Nitrocellulose as a key component of smokeless powder, with complete raw material processing.
Manufacturers of explosives can receive up to UAH 150 million, provided they contribute 30% co-financing.
“Such support will assist manufacturers in establishing or expanding production lines, acquiring equipment, chemical components, and systems, while enabling our defenders to deliver effective strikes against the enemy,” said Denys Shmyhal.
Applications are accepted until September 9. For more details, please visit: https://grants.brave1.tech/.
