Bottled water for the Armed Forces of Ukraine: The MoD’s acquisition agency, DOT, has announced a tender worth over UAH 650 million
The Ministry of Defence is committed to ensuring a continuous and reliable supply of essential resources to the Ukrainian military. The State Operator for Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT), the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine’s acquisition agency, has announced an open tender to procure bottled drinking water for the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the second half of 2025.
“During a similar procurement for the first quarter, we achieved significant savings of UAH 74.3 million, which accounted for over 10% of the announced expected value,” said Glib Kanievskyi, Director of the Procurement Policy Department at the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. “We strive to ensure that every tender is completed on time, without delays, and with a clear focus on the needs of those serving on the front lines.”
Due to the specific requirements of bottled drinking water, its procurement is conducted outside the standard catalog. Most of the expenditure in this category is associated with transportation and delivery services, reflecting both the volume of supplies and the geographic distribution of deliveries.
The procurement is expected to exceed UAH 656 billion. As in previous procurements, the tender is divided into eight separate lots. The auction is scheduled for May 5, 2025.
