Army’s arsenal supplemented with new armaments

Last week, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine introduced 18 new samples of weapons and military equipment into service.

These armaments can now be purchased for the Defence Forces from manufacturers with the state’s budget funds.
In addition, 24 samples of weapons and equipment have been codified (i.e. received an item certificate). Codification is part of the process of bringing these armaments into military service and ensures lawful use, tracking and oversight.

As a reminder, during the first three months of 2024, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine authorized more than 80 samples of domestically produced weapons and military equipment for military use.
