Army+ has launched ticket sales for the ‘Train to You,’ a special Ukrzaliznytsia route for service members and their loved ones

The ‘Train to You’ is a dedicated two-hour loop train route for military personnel and their loved ones. It will operate in Kyiv and Lviv for three days, from February 14 to 16. 

For the third consecutive year, Ukrzaliznytsia has been launching these trains, and this time, they are an exclusive part of the 'Pluses' National Support Program. Service members can purchase tickets for this year's ‘Train to You’ in the Army+ app. Initiatives like these contribute significantly to the socialization of military personnel and will be sustained with the support of Ukrainian businesses.

“Within a month and a half of the ‘Pluses’ Program's operation, over 6,200 tickets from Ukrzaliznytsia's special reserve have been purchased by service members. This ensured they arrived at their destination on time, were reunited with their loved ones, and did not lose a single day of leave due to ticket shortages. I am glad we have created this efficient and practical service, ‘Pluses.’ “I thank Ukrzaliznytsia for its engagement in the ‘Pluses’ Program from the very start and for exclusive offers such as 'Train to You,'” says Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development. 

The train compartments will be free of other passengers, with music, tea, and a game for two. But the most important thing is the opportunity to be with loved ones. 

“Train to You” departs according to the following schedule:

 In Kyiv:

February 14th — 19:20

February 15th and 16th — 15:15 and 19:20

 In Lviv:

February 14th — 18:56

February 15th and 16th — 16:11 and 18:56 

Ticket prices vary based on the day of the week and the city. In Kyiv, ticket prices start from UAH 504, and in Lviv, from UAH 334. Make sure to save your tickets to your phone right after purchase.
