The sequence of steps for manufacturers of weapon models and the procedural stages within the Ministry of Defense’s departments are outlined in the Algorithm of Actions for Codification of New Weapons and Military Equipment Models. 

The procedure is divided into two primary stages: the Ministry of Defense (MoD)'s review of documentation and the manufacturer's independent work. The Ministry of Defense portal has implemented an electronic notification system on application status and an online document submission system for the convenience of manufacturers.

It is important to mention that manufacturers who lack their own testing facilities can benefit from the "Iron Testing Ground" initiative, which is supported by the MoD and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The infographic provides a comprehensive process flow for the codification.
