A unified pathway to military and civilian careers: The Military Training Department of the State Special Transport Service offers a versatile education
The 2025 admissions campaign is underway. In addition to military higher educational institutions, future officers are also trained by military training units within higher educational institutions. Among these is the Department of Military Training for Specialists of the State Special Transport Service at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies.
This training unit invites Ukrainian citizens aspiring to acquire an education that provides opportunities in both civilian life and military careers. This unit educates specialists for the State Special Transport Service, the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the National Guard of Ukraine.
The Department provides education in specializations that are highly demanded in both the military and civilian sectors:
Construction and Civil Engineering
Educational programs: “Restoration and Construction of Human-made Structures within the National Transport System”
“Construction and Maintenance of Buildings and Installations for Specialized and General Military Use”
Mechanical Engineering
Educational program: “Operation, Technical Maintenance, and Repair of Equipment of the State Special Transport Service”
Railway Transport
Educational programs: “Organization of Military Transportation and Railway Transport Management”
“Restoration and Construction of Infrastructure Facilities within the National Transport System”

Admission requirements for applicants:
- Citizens of Ukraine aged 17 to 30 years (including those turning 17 in the year of enrollment)
- Military personnel and individuals liable for military service who do not hold officer ranks, aged 18 to 30
- Completion of full general secondary education.
Admission to the University is based on the results of the National Multi-Subject Test (NMST) or entrance exams, as well as medical examination, psychological evaluation, and physical fitness test.
Submission of documents via Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers (enlistment offices) is open until July 1, 2025, and via the Department’s Admissions Committee until July 20, 2025.
